- Clarity: Our readers range from legal professionals to engaged citizens. Write in a way that is authoritative yet accessible. Avoid unnecessary jargon, and explain technical terms when they are essential.
- Accuracy: Every factual claim should be supportable. Cite case names, statutory provisions, and official sources. We verify all submissions before publication.
- Timeliness: We prioritise analysis of current and recent legal developments. Evergreen pieces on foundational legal concepts are also welcome.
Submission Guidelines
- Articles should be between 1,000 and 2,500 words
- Include a compelling headline and a brief author biography (2-3 sentences)
- Cite primary sources such as case law, statutes, and official records
- Use clear subheadings to organise longer pieces
- Submit your article as a Word document or Google Doc link
- Include a note confirming the work is original and unpublished
